In the state of North Carolina, listing measurements are not required, but when they are advertised, they must be correct.
Some MLS associations allow a 5% error margin for advertised measurements, but the highest measuring standard is the ANSI standard. This is the standard now required by Fannie Mae, and is projected to be required soon across the board. ANSI standard allows for a maximum of 2% error. Our iGuide technology is calibrated to the ANSI standard, but exceeds the error margin at 0.5-1%. This is more accurate than hands-on measuring, assuring the most accurate measurements possible.
